
General Superintendent (Irvine)

We’re hiring a General Superintendent to lead field operations for a national design-build firm based in Irvine, CA.
This role will oversee multiple active projects across industrial, commercial, and tenant improvement work, managing field teams and ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard. The position works closely with senior leadership and plays a key role in driving consistency across all jobs.
Oversee all field operations across multiple active projects (industrial, commercial, TI/build-outs)
Manage superintendents, assistant supers, and field staff across jobsites
Ensure scheduling, sequencing, and coordination are aligned across projects
Lead subcontractor coordination and enforce quality, safety, and production standards
Step in to troubleshoot jobsite challenges and keep projects moving forward
Work closely with project management and leadership on staffing, logistics, and execution strategy
Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and subcontractors
What they’re looking for:
10–20+ years of construction experience with a strong field background
Proven experience running multiple projects or overseeing other superintendents
Experience in industrial, commercial, or large-scale TI projects
Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage teams across multiple sites
Ability to step in immediately and take ownership of field operations
Compensation:
Base salary typically in the $175K–$225K range depending on experience
Bonus potential
