Environment, Health and Safety Manager (Phoenix)

D2D:
The EHS Manager is responsible for the collection of EHS data, review, and coordination of EHS related documentation, development of client / project specific pre-qualifications and plans as well as the performance of facility and work area audits. The EHS Manager performs training when required, mentors EHS Coordinators, Conducts / supports incident investigations utilizing the root cause analysis process. Additional support is provided for the company DOT and Safety Compliance Program.
Will be overseeing 2 EHS Coordinators
Coordinators are responsible for conducting audits in the field – the EHS Manager is making sure that they are doing what they are supposed to and scheduling out things
Participates in the development and implementation of EHS policies and programs, safe work practices, EHS training programs, and drug testing policies
Provides technical and administrative direction to EHS personnel. mentors, trains, and evaluates performance of EHS personnel
Works with Project Managers and Regional Managers to develop EHS goals and written safety action plans to assist in achieving the goals of the business units
Initiates and participates in all accident/incident investigations with operations personnel to determine Root-Causes and develop a Corrective Action Plan

MHs:
10 years of experience in EHS + 5 years of utility EHS experience
Needs to have at least 2-5 years of leadership experience – management or lead EHS
Knowledge of DOT compliance
Bachelors degree is preferred but not required
CUSP or CHST certs preferred but not required
Valid drivers license and ability to travel once a month to sites
