Key Responsibilities:
Perform blood collection using venipuncture and capillary techniques
Properly label, store, and transport specimens to ensure accurate testing
Verify patient information and maintain accurate records in lab systems
Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis following standard procedures
Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and supplies
Monitor inventory of lab supplies and restock as needed
Assist with basic laboratory support tasks and administrative duties
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
Ensure patient comfort and address concerns during procedures
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of blood collection techniques and safety procedures
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
