Summary:
Under the direction of the Facility Services Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor serves as the on-site leader for all maintenance functions on an assigned shift. This position is responsible for coordinating and supervising facility and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) maintenance activities to ensure operational reliability, safety compliance, and cost efficiency. The Maintenance Supervisor directs maintenance associates in alignment with service, safety, and financial objectives.
Salary:
$80,000-$85,000/year with bonus potential

730AM-5PM Monday-Friday
Essential Functions:
Lead and support the implementation of maintenance excellence initiatives.
Provide daily direction, coaching, and performance feedback to maintenance associates.
Coordinate closely with Operations to minimize disruption and ensure timely completion of scheduled work.
Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure timely completion of work orders.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and audit completed maintenance work for quality and compliance.
Manage contractor activities on-site, including scope definition, performance monitoring, and budget adherence.
Support capital projects by defining scope of work and ensuring contractor accountability.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including PPE, LOTO procedures, and refrigeration safety standards.
Participate in weekly safety walks and assist in corrective action follow-up.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels of parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
Effectively utilize the maintenance management system (CMMS/SAP) for documentation and tracking.
Prepare weekly payroll, manage PTO scheduling, and maintain department staffing schedules.
Assist in determining work prioritization and urgency based on operational impact.
Supervise maintenance activities during nights and weekends as required.
Spend the majority of time supervising and coordinating maintenance activities, performing hands-on work as necessary.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
3+ years supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
3+ years hands-on maintenance mechanic experience.
Strong background in refrigeration and facility maintenance (cold storage experience preferred).
Experience managing MHE fleets.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and CMMS systems (SAP preferred).
Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
Strong customer service orientation with a high sense of urgency.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education & Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate’s Degree or technical certification preferred.
