About the Role

Operations Compliance Specialist I
to support internal auditing and compliance assessment activities. This entry‑level opportunity allows you to gain hands‑on experience with audit processes, data reviews, and compliance documentation while ensuring adherence to
Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) , and internal procedures.
This role is ideal for candidates looking to begin or grow their career in operations compliance and internal auditing.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in conducting internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of records, and operational efficiency
Review and analyze data to identify deficiencies or non‑compliance with FAR/DFAR and internal procedures
Document audit findings and prepare detailed reports for management review
Support the implementation and tracking of corrective actions for identified compliance issues
Maintain and update audit procedures, work papers, and documentation
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather required information and support audit activities
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
or
equivalent relevant experience
In lieu of a degree,
4+ years of related compliance, audit, or regulatory experience
Basic understanding of FAR/DFAR
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Exposure to audit procedures, compliance analysis, or data review
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or early career experience in a compliance, audit, or risk role
Background in
Aerospace & Defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. Military
Familiarity with compliance tools, databases, or audit software

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
