Insight Global is seeking an
Assistant Project Manager
for a growing construction and engineering organization. This individual will support the Project Management team in delivering high-quality construction projects by assisting with budgeting, procurement, documentation, and on-site coordination. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in construction project workflows, strong technical aptitude, and a desire to grow within a collaborative, hands-on engineering environment. This is a fully onsite role offering long-term career growth and exposure to complex construction projects.
Must-Haves:
2+ years of experience in the construction industry
Working knowledge of project management methodologies
Experience supporting project budgets, labor tracking, and schedules
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and architectural plans
Experience using
AutoCAD
and
Bluebeam
Reliable transportation for travel to job sites
Plusses:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Highly organized with strong documentation skills
Flexible, adaptable, and dependable team player
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment
Day-to-Day:
Support Project Managers with day-to-day execution of construction projects
Collaborate with internal teams to identify, track, and resolve project issues
Assist with submission and quality control of project deliverables
Help prepare bid packages and support procurement processes
Contribute to BOM creation, labor budgeting, and pre-job packages
Attend site meetings and assist with field measurements
