Food-Based Healthcare Accounts Coordinator
Foodlink is seeking a highly‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and organized individual to support the NYS 1115 Medicaid Waiver billing structure. The FBHAC is responsible for timely invoicing, accounts payable vouchering, interfacing with finance and Medicaid IT, monitoring payments, and ensuring cash flow for the Food‑Based Healthcare programs.

Key Responsibilities
Work with the Director of Food‑Based Healthcare and the Waiver team to invoice for services and ensure billing accuracy (upload invoices into the FindHelp portal).
Complete all AP vouchering to pay vendors and serve as point‑person for finance team/subcontractors on payment inquiries.
Ensure privacy and security of sensitive personal health information.
Collaborate with Finance and FBH teams to secure timely reimbursement (monitor reimbursements on FindHelp and work with FLIPA to rectify discrepancies).
Support development and implementation of new processes/tracking mechanisms to improve department efficiencies.
Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial tracking to ensure compliance and adherence to financial standards.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred).
2‑5 years of relevant work experience, especially in a community‑based or nonprofit setting (preferred).
Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of grant compliance and tracking (preferred but not required).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (required).
Fluency in English; Spanish knowledge helpful.
Must have reliable transportation.
Salary and Benefits
Full‑time position paid hourly: $22.28–$24.75 per hour (DOE). Foodlink covers 100% of individual health and dental insurance; family coverage available with pretax dollars. Generous paid time off (PTO) and 14 paid holidays. 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match after 1 year of service.
