Bachelors or Masters degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a School Psychologist working with children from birth to five years old. This full-time role spans from July 6, 2026, to June 11, 2027, with contract options of 205 or 215 days, providing support across the Salem/South Marion County and Yamhill County regions. As a valued mental health professional, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to help ensure every child’s success from their earliest educational experiences. Qualifications:Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited programValid state certification or license as a School PsychologistExperience or strong interest in early childhood/Pre-K (Birth–5)Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs/IFSPs, and delivering services in diverse school settingsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to work with young children, families, and staffFlexibility and adaptability to meet the developmental and educational needs of a varied populationPrevious experience in a school-based role preferred Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students ages birth to fiveParticipate in eligibility determination and team meetingsCollaborate with families, special educators, and service providers to design and monitor intervention plansFacilitate appropriate early intervention strategies and consult on best practicesWrite comprehensive reports and maintain accurate documentationSupport positive behavior strategies and social-emotional learning initiatives Embrace a meaningful role where your expertise will guide families and educators, ensuring optimal development and educational access for children in the early years.
