
Civil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will support a variety of multi-disciplinary public and private projects, including transportation, utility, school, commercial, residential, renewable energy, and other site/land development efforts.
You will assist in all phases of project design and delivery including preparing plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and technical reports. Responsibilities also include site grading, drainage and utility design, erosion control, permitting and agency coordination. You will track permitting requirements and schedules throughout each project and support construction administration through site visits, meetings, and inspections.
Required Qualifications
Registered Civil Engineer in the State of Oregon, or the ability to obtain registration within six months
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or a combination of equivalent training and experience
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a project team
Effective communication skills with internal teams, clients, and agency staff
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with design standards used by jurisdictions and agencies in the Portland metro and/or SW Washington area
Understanding of the land use entitlement process
Washington PE license, or the ability to obtain within six months
Experience using Vehicle Tracking, ArcGIS, and Bluebeam
Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL)
Experience designing and implementing Low Impact Development (LID) features in both public and private projects
Compensation
$90,000-$115,000+ depending on experience
Exceptionally qualified candidates may be considered for a Senior Civil Engineer position, with compensation up to $130,000+
