Warehouse Supervisor
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse operations within a fast‑paced machine shop environment, focusing on receiving and shipping machined parts for transformers and cabinets. This role manages a small team of warehouse associates, ensures accurate inventory control, and uses SAP and Oracle ERP systems to support efficient material flow and on‑time delivery.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of 3–5 warehouse associates, providing daily direction, support, and performance oversight.
Oversee all shipping and receiving activities for machined parts related to transformers and cabinets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Utilize SAP and Oracle ERP systems to process transactions, maintain accurate inventory records, and track material movement.
Coordinate material handling activities to ensure the right parts are available at the right time for production and customer orders.
Monitor inventory levels, reconcile discrepancies, and help maintain organized, well‑labeled storage areas.
Support all warehouse functions, including picking, packing, staging, and loading materials for outbound shipments.
Collaborate closely with production and other internal teams to meet schedules and resolve material or logistics issues.
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment in alignment with company policies and safety requirements.
Assist with planning and executing end‑of‑month activities, including occasional weekend work when required.
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of supervisor or management experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environment.
Hands‑on experience using SAP ERP for warehouse, inventory, or materials management activities.
Hands‑on experience using Oracle ERP in a warehouse or production support setting.
Strong experience in shipping and receiving operations, including documentation and accuracy control.
Proven experience with inventory management and material handling in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to lead, coach, and support a small team of warehouse associates.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure precise inventory and transaction records.
Ability to work effectively in a machine shop or industrial setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a machine shop or manufacturing warehouse supporting production teams.
Comfort working with ERP systems beyond basic data entry, including reporting and transaction troubleshooting.
Demonstrated ability to adapt in a growing environment and support expanding production operations.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with production, logistics, and other internal stakeholders.
Ability to support occasional weekend work during month‑end periods.

The environment is fast‑paced and industrial, requiring appropriate safety footwear such as steel‑toe shoes, and involves regular material handling, movement of parts, and use of ERP systems including SAP and Oracle throughout the day.

Salary: $90,000.00 – $98,000.00 per year.
