Position Summary

Drives sales and financial performance in the Auto Care Center and service area by receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, signing, stocking, inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting sales, assessing economic trends and community needs, ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved, and implementing plans to correct deficiencies. Provides customer service and assistance by acknowledging the customer, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, promoting products and services, and maintaining a safe shopping environment. Creates and processes customer requests and service orders in accordance with company policies. Explains Auto Care Center and automotive products and services, ensures technicians are trained and certified on service procedures, stages customer vehicles, and assists with workflow. Maintains the Auto Care Center and automotive sales floor and service area by stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, signing and pricing, securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, and maintaining equipment. Handles customer and merchandise claims and returns, zones and orders merchandise, monitors environmental disposal, ensures OSHA compliance, and maintains customer safety and satisfaction. Coordinates and oversees job‑related activities and assignments, develops relationships with stakeholders, supports plans and initiatives, and communicates goals and objectives. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports mission values, and implements action plans under the Open Door Policy. Builds high‑performing teams that embrace diversity, supports a culture of belonging, and creates opportunities for associates to thrive. Acts with integrity, maintains highest standards of ethics, supports Walmart’s regenerative mission, and fosters culture of belonging, reducing waste, and increasing local giving. Serves customers and members by delivering results, considering how, where, and when customers shop, applying low‑price business models, making data‑driven decisions, balancing priorities, and supporting partners in communities.
Salary and Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
Regional Pay Zone (RPZ)

Minimum Qualifications

2 years experience in automotive service or service industry field.
1 year of supervisory experience.
Valid driver's license.
For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training.
For facilities that sell only ammunition, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
Preferred Qualifications

Automotive Certification from Automotive Technical Institute.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
Experience in automotive service or related field.
Supervisory experience.
ASE Certification.
