Food Service Worker- PRN

Job Responsibilities
Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of Munson Healthcare
Embraces and supports the Performance Improvement philosophy of Munson Healthcare.
Promotes personal and patient safety.
Has basic understanding of Relationship-Based Care (RBC) principles, meets expectations outlined in Commitment To My Co‑workers, and supports RBC unit action plans.
Uses effective customer service/interpersonal skills at all times.
Sets up and stocks cafeteria using FIFO, monitors quality of food & assures enough food & paper stock available. Responsible for brewing coffee, and keeping a good stock of beverages.
Serves & replenishes hot food in cafeteria, including monitoring temperatures and quality of food. Areas include breakfast, lunch & dinner service.
Cleans and sanitizes workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment.
Interacts with customers/patients throughout the day/evening. Helps answer questions about food, ingredients & special needs.
Knowledgeably about the food they are serving, including suggestive selling.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Additional Information
Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
