Delivery Driver Associate Responsibilities
Conduct yourself with professionalism and in a highly ethical manner at all times
Show high commitment to safety
Work in a self-directed environment with motivation to succeed
Show excellent attention to detail
Solve problems independently using critical thinking skills
Have a positive can-do attitude
Demonstrate strong communication skills
Load vans and deliver packages safely and punctually by driving pre-determined routes, climbing in and out of the vehicle and walking upstairs and down driveways in all weather conditions
Work with a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Behave as a responsible and courteous teammate
Perform daily vehicle inspections and related paperwork
Ensure company vehicle is kept clean and maintain a safe work environment
Operate a smartphone to manage route and delivery information
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Be at least 21 years of age
Hold a valid driver's license (no Commercial Drivers License required)
Have a clean driving record
Submit to a pre-employment drug test
Fluent in English (being bilingual is a plus)
Available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Have a proven track record of reliability
Ability to contribute to a high performing team with a positive attitude!
Physical Requirements
Lift a maximum of 50 pounds during an 8 to 10-hour work shift
Appropriately handle stressful driving demands including inclement weather conditions
Climb stairs, reach overhead, squat/bend/kneel during an 8 to 10-hour work shift
