Production Worker

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, 32216

Shift: Monday - Friday 6am-4:30pm, with opportunity for overtime

Pay Rate: $14/hour

Job Description

The Production Worker supports high-volume manufacturing by operating machines, performing mechanical assembly, and working on a production line to build HVAC units and related sheet metal and steel components. This role involves using hand tools to bolt together products, drill holes into sheet metal, and assist with the assembly process in a fast-paced production environment that requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Responsibilities

Operate production machinery safely and efficiently to support daily manufacturing output.
Bolt together products and structural components using appropriate hand tools and equipment.
Drill precise holes into sheet metal according to specifications and production drawings.
Assist with the assembly of HVAC units from individual sheet metal and steel components on a production line.
Work on an assembly line to build, align, and secure sheet metal and steel parts to meet quality and productivity standards.
Perform general production and general labor tasks as needed to support overall manufacturing operations.
Handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as part of daily production and assembly activities.
Follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality requirements throughout all production tasks.
Essential Skills

At least 2 years of production or manufacturing experience.
Hands-on experience with general production and general labor tasks.
Proficiency in machine operation within a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience working on an assembly line in a production environment.
Capability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality standards.
