Phoenix - Mine Dispatcher

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Mine Dispatcher at our Phoenix operation. The successful candidate will manage fleet utilization, KPI compliance, central communication, and assigning fleet as necessary for production.
Responsibilities
Organize schedule and dispatch workers/work crews, as well as equipment and service vehicles according to request, specifications or needs.
Serve as the central communication contact for mine production and safety.
Capture, validate, and record mine site data, shift, and production reports.
Monitor traffic and heavy equipment through video cameras and fleet update screen to ensure efficient use.
Monitor and report DSSI fatigue management events to supervisors.
Monitor KPI’s on dashboard and follow mining plan for targets.
Receive, prepare, and relay work orders, messages and information to and from work crews, supervisors and field inspectors.
Facilitate decision-making for mine management and engineering crew.
Provide accurate information to ensure informed production decisions.
Provide notes and timelines for all MAYDAYS and coordinate as needed through AVETC system.
Monitor fleet tires for overheating or pressure loss.
At the supervisor’s discretion, dispatchers may be used in the field.
Qualifications
Five (5) years of mining experience
required
Understanding of mine dispatch systems and operating software application systems
Knowledge of standard operating procedures in mining.
Exceptional communication skills.
Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
