Title: Field Service Technician II
Location: Brooklyn‑Queens, NY
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
Are you a Field Technician, Field Engineer, Service Technician, or looking to become one? If you are tech savvy with mechanical aptitude and can deliver best‑in‑class service to large retailers and banks, we’re looking for you. The Field Services Team provides first line response to customers, communicating helpfully, triaging issues, and pre‑emptively handling problems, with formal training provided by NCR Atleos. You will work hands‑on, supported by virtual and classroom training, and share knowledge with mentors and coaches across territories.
Responsibilities
Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
Service electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self‑checkout systems within an assigned territory.
Perform maintenance repair and system overhauls.
Manage everything from network faults and traffic to configuration, security, and remote system access.
Basic Qualifications
Local candidate to specific geographic area.
Authorized to work in the US.
At least 19 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and driving record satisfying NCR Atleos fleet requirements.
PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity.
Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day.
Rotating and weekend shifts.
Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with hands, and repeated grasping of objects of varying size.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification.
One or more years of related experience.
Salary Range
$48,800.00 - $73,200.00
