
Accounts Payable Intern

Job Description
The Finance Intern will gain valuable real‑world experience by getting exposure to the various functions within the Finance group, such as General Accounting, SEC Reporting, Treasury, Internal Audit and Financial Planning and Analysis. The primary responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to scanning, sorting, filing, maintaining accurate records of valuable company information, as well as assisting in other areas as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems
Work with spreadsheets to identify inconsistent data
Verify data integrity by comparing it to source documents
Update existing data to follow best practice protocol
Sorting and filing AP and Finance records
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Obtaining a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
Excellent organizational abilities
Time management skills with the ability to multitask and thrive in an oft‑times fast‑paced work environment
Interpersonal communication skills to successfully collaborate with staff members
Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Microsoft Excel
Base Pay Range
$17.00 per hour
