What you’ll need to succeed as a Senior Specialist, Payroll at XPO
Minimum qualifications:

2 years of experience processing multi-entity, multi-state payrolls in a complex environment

Preferred qualifications:

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) credential

Experience working with Microsoft Office applications and payroll systems such as Oracle, Kronos, and/or SAP

Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues in high-pressure situations while maintaining a professional demeanor, including when navigating challenging or sensitive situations

Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment and build strong working relationships

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with peers, attorneys, end users and all levels of leadership

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Process ServiceNow payroll case tickets

Process weekly and bi-weekly Payroll Control Center alert errors

Enter adjustment data into Employee Central Payroll for inclusion in payroll processing

Process ACH notifications of change and any rejections

Audit pay cards

Process stop payments and reissues

Calculate, issue and distribute final paychecks and special requests

Support other areas and business needs within the department as required
