Job Description
As a Machinist/Machine Operator for Rolls‑Royce, you will operate a variety of equipment: turning, grinding, milling, welding. Use a variety of precision measuring instruments, inspect in process or finished parts and feature characteristics as well as manufacturing methods to blueprint specifications.
What You Will Be Doing
Here you’ll have the opportunity to work on the following:
Perform all duties to the highest quality standards and within the allotted time or budget while adhering to prescribed safety rules and regulations
Setting machine origins, loading automated cells and running production in accordance with the written set‑up instructions
Working and inspecting product to machined dimensions and maintain close tolerances and correlated dimensions with a high demand for squareness, concentricity, finish and parallelism
Setting and loading all tools in conjunction with set‑up instructions to complete assigned jobs while maintaining safety and asset care throughout your work day
Will lift up to 30 lbs; carry and visually inspect parts; perform repetitive motions, stand and perform basic math
Will be responsible for operating multiple types of machines or processes
Will work assigned shifts. Shift differential is available for afternoon and evening shifts.

Basic Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent GED (General Education Diploma) and minimum of 1 year of machining, manufacturing, production, assembly or aviation experience
In lieu of 1 year of experience, a completed associate's degree or a qualified certification program in a manufacturing, machining or related field
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Requirements
CNC experience
Knowledge of basic manufacturing practices
