Title: Accounting Specialist – Vendor Payables
Position requires five days fully in office at Longwood, FL, with hybrid option after 90 days based on performance.

About the Role
Vendor payables goal is to reconcile and process all payments to vendors and employees promptly. Tasks include high-volume data entry, processing exports, navigating EPIC, MS Office, scanning into SharePoint, and troubleshooting accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Invoice Entry: Enter high volume of invoices into EPIC.

Invoice Review: Review invoices for accuracy and obtain manager approval.

Account Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor accounts and take corrective action for out-of-balance accounts.

W-9 Collection: Obtain W-9s from new vendors.

Email Management: Maintain general email account for vendor payables department.

Journal Entries: Create journal entries for accounting uploads and corrections.

Check Scanning: Scan paper checks with backup to SharePoint.

GL Coding: Analyze vendor accounts and determine proper GL coding.

Expense Reimbursements: Assist employees in entering expense reimbursements into Chrome River.

Expense Reports: Review and approve expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.

Payment Processing: Process export of expense reimbursements into EPIC ensuring employees receive payment.

Audit Payables: Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policy and federal and state laws.

Special Payments: Process special manual checks and off-cycle payments as needed.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

3 years of payables experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Salary Range
The expected pay range for this position is $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
