Duties / Responsibilities / Physical Requirements
Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators, etc.)
Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures
Excavate and grade dirt, fill &/or debris
Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers
Install &/or remove loader attachments
Coordinate to use heavy equipment to separate various materials
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of equipment
Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces
Agility, bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet
Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions
Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
Regular and Predictable Performance
Education / Experience
Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprentice.
Job Specific Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Responsible and safety minded
Knowledge on the use of multiple equipment: hammer, shear, grapple and/or bucket
Ability to make visible distinctions among various debris & scrap materials
Ability to collaborate and work with a team
