Position Summary
Responsible for assembling and integrating battery energy storage systems, including mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and system setup. This role ensures work is completed according to drawings and specifications, supports testing and commissioning, performs troubleshooting, and maintains safe and organized operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble battery systems according to drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
Perform electrical connections, including cabling, grounding, and terminal installation
Use power tools and assembly tools safely and effectively
Support system testing and basic commissioning activities
Monitor equipment and process conditions, perform troubleshooting and minor repairs, and elevate complex issues as needed
Identify and report process, assembly, or quality issues during production
Perform equipment/tool checks and execute preventive maintenance tasks according to the maintenance schedule
Maintain organized workstations and proper tool management in accordance with 5S standards
Strictly follow electrical safety, EHS, and battery safety procedures
Support cross-functional tasks, including testing, rework, and troubleshooting as needed
Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization activities
Qualifications
High school diploma or technical training (electrical/mechanical preferred)
Basic electrical knowledge both AC and DC required (wiring, grounding, safe operation)
Experience in mechanical/electrical assembly or system integration preferred
Ability to read basic drawings and wiring diagrams
Strong hands‑on skills with power tools and assembly work
Detail-oriented with strong safety awareness
Ability to stand for extended periods (8–12 hours per shift) and lift up to 60 lbs as needed
