Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal for a full-time on-site role in our Visalia, CA office. The Paralegal will assist attorneys by preparing legal documents, conducting thorough research, and reviewing case-related materials. Responsibilities include managing case files, ensuring compliance with legal procedures, drafting civil discovery, drafting civil pleadings (complaints/answers/motions) and researching legal issues. The individual will play a critical role in supporting various legal processes across diverse practice areas.

Our firm has a well-established local history with seven attorneys and six paralegals (+ support staff and interns). Employees receive health insurance, a retirement package, PTO, and discretionary bonuses. The annual salary range for this position is based on experience: $43,000.00 to $60,000.00.

Qualifications

Strong background in Law and proficiency in Legal Document Preparation

Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and team interactions

Experience in conducting Research and analysis for legal cases

Attention to detail and expertise in Document Review to ensure accuracy and completeness

Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple cases

Proficiency in standard legal software and tools

Associate degree, certificate in paralegal studies, or equivalent experience required

Understanding of state legal systems is a plus
