Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and client-focused Litigation Paralegal to support our probate and estate litigation practice. This role requires strong organizational discipline, the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in litigation support and an interest or background in probate, guardianship, or trust litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, notices, and other litigation documents;
Manage case files from inception through resolution, ensuring accuracy and organization;
Maintain and monitor court deadlines, hearings, and trial calendars;
Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties;
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination;
Conduct legal research and summarize findings as needed;
Ensure all case activity is properly documented in the firm’s case management system;
Communicate with clients in a professional, calm, and service-oriented manner;
Proactively identify next steps on cases and assist in moving matters forward efficiently.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a litigation paralegal (probate or estate litigation experience required);
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail;
Excellent client service and interpersonal skills;
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Professional phone and email etiquette;
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment;
Experience with case management systems (PracticePanther or similar preferred).
