Do you have great peer support skills? Have you got an interest in working as part of a team supporting LGBTQ+ people experiencing poor mental health?
We require 3 part-time Peer Support Workers to deliver peer support for LGBTQIA+ people experiencing poor mental health, and to work as part of the Mental Health Team to provide community-driven Mental Health support in Yorkshire.
Prime Objectives
Deliver peer support groups for LGBTQIA+ communities.
Offer short-term one-to-one peer support to LGBTQIA+ people experiencing or at risk of poor mental health.
Salary: NJC scale 5 (points 11-17) starting at £28,598 pro-rata per annum for 15 hours per week. This is a fixed-term employment contract until 31st March 2028. Salary is reviewed annually. There is a 5% workplace pension (on completion of probationary period). This post is subject to a Standard DBS check.
