Intake Coordinator Part-time Opportunity
Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140‑bed hospital offering inpatient services for adolescents, adults, military, veterans and first responders. The system provides quality services delivered by psychiatrists, licensed therapists, certified alcohol and drug counselors, activity therapists and teachers, along with 24‑hour registered nursing care. This role offers an engaging family‑oriented environment for dedicated professionals who want to make a positive difference.
Responsibilities
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for facilitating requests for services, resource referral, assessment of patient/family clinical needs, and interfacing with managed care organizations, external reviewers, and other payers.
Requirements
Graduate degree in social work, mental health/behavioral sciences, or related field and/or
Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the state of Kentucky
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, patient evaluations and information reports
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the community
Ability to communicate on an effective level with physicians, patients, referral sources, and staff from a variety of disciplines
Completion of CPR course and completion of HWC within 90 days of employment
