We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Virtual Mail Clerk to join our team as a remote contractor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing digital correspondence, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and ensuring the accurate distribution of documents within our organization. Key Responsibilities

Receive, sort, and scan incoming mail and packages.

Digitally organize and distribute correspondence to appropriate departments or individuals.

Prepare, scan, and send outgoing mail as required.

Maintain accurate records of all mail transactions and ensure data confidentiality.

Respond to inquiries regarding mail status and provide timely updates to team members.

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline document management processes.

Adhere to company policies and compliance requirements for document handling.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in administration or related fields preferred.

Proven experience in administrative, clerical, or mailroom roles; remote work experience is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency with document management software and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, PDF tools).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.

Authorized to work in the United States.
