At the T.E.A. Center, we are seeking a dedicated
Morning Montessori Teacher
who brings warmth, structure, and a deep understanding of Montessori principles to the classroom.
Schedule: Morning Shift (Flexible within morning hours)
Pay: $17 – $25 per hour (based on experience & qualifications)
Qualifications
MUST be Montessori Certified
(required)
MUST love working with children
Strong knowledge of Montessori philosophy and child‑led learning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to follow county and Department of Social Services standards
Open to ongoing professional development and training
Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain an authentic Montessori environment that promotes independence and exploration
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children ages 2.5 – 5 years
Guide behavior using positive discipline and Montessori principles
Plan and implement hands‑on, developmentally appropriate learning activities
Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully prepared classroom
Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress and daily activities
Assist with parent orientation and program communication
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events
