Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a
Human Resources Generalist
to support the Celina, OH distribution center, serving 120 hourly associates and 10 exempt leaders. The role focuses on employee engagement, leadership development, and fostering a high‑performance culture.
Responsibilities
Assess gaps and opportunities for improvement of HR policies and recommend solutions.
Analyze, prepare, and maintain reports for the leadership team.
Assist in developing and delivering training on HR laws and policies to managers, supervisors, and employees.
Research current laws and amendments affecting HR, educate staff, and recommend policy changes for compliance.
Partner with HRIS, coordinate the HR audit process, review contracts for compliance, respond to findings, and implement new processes and policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
Minimum two years of experience in an HR position.
Business intuition paired with a dedication to compliance and legal matters.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong listening skills and attention to employee concerns.
Analytical, diligent and detail‑oriented.
Outstanding project management and planning abilities.
Capability to build effective, trusting relationships to enhance personal and team efficiency.
Ability to keep matters confidential and use tact and courtesy while safeguarding confidentiality.

Pay Range
$4,766.67 – $7,625.00 monthly for salaried roles (or hourly for other roles). Bonus or incentive plan eligible.
