DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL - Middletown (M2) - First Shift

Direct Support Professional - FT/First Shift 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (30 hours)
The Direct Support Professional will follow agency policies and participate in related goals and plans, which promote inclusion as well as social and emotional growth for the individuals we support in their homes and in the community. The DSP is responsible for the health, well‑being, and development of individuals we serve and works in conjunction with other staff members to provide the best possible care for all individuals. Supports the IMPACT mission, vision, and guiding principles. This is a position working 1:1 with an individual providing individualized community supports (IDNV).
Requirments
Must have a valid CT Driver's License and reliable vehicle with current CT registration and insurance
Must use own vehicle w/mileage reimbursement @ state rate and be able provide certificate of insurance demonstrating statutory state minimums.
High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR, First Aid, PMT and Med Certification are preferred.
Minimum Education And Experience Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
5 years’ experience with adults with developmental disabilities preferred but will train right candidates.
