Summary of Position
The Coater Operator ensures scheduled orders are completed according to specifications and procedures, maintaining safety, quality and production standards in a team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize logbooks for shift issues
Responsible for safety of crewmembers
Perform quality and standard checks
Participate in die changes as scheduled
Complete appropriate data sheets
Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, safety inspections
Follow “Red Tag” procedures when required
Follow all safety rules when entering the manufacturing facility
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Maintain inventories needed for production run
Communicate and share knowledge with operators and coworkers
Suggest ways to reduce costs, improve safety, or enhance product/process
Participate in S4 continuous improvement team meetings and projects
