The Job
The VIP Assistant Manager will set the stage for guest experience with a welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, the candidate will own their experience to create wow moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
Day-to-day
Assume full departmental leadership in the absence of the director or department head
Handle guest service interactions promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfactory resolutions
Foster a team-oriented culture focused on delivering exceptional service excellence
Manage hiring, training, and succession planning processes in alignment with the company’s commitment to diversity
Maintain departmental standards for accurate billing, payment processing, cash handling, and reconciliation of all financial transactions
Ensure proper use and maintenance of hotel property and equipment
Oversee VIP Representatives’ performance and implement progressive discipline as needed
Process payroll for VIP staff and monitor attendance records
Coordinate and order departmental supplies as required
Ideal Candidate
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
High School Diploma or GED
2+ Years of prior relevant experience required
