Pool Maintenance Technician - Full-Time $20-$25 per hour in Captiva

Pool Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the upkeep and repair of swimming pools, spas, and other water features within the resort.

Key Responsibilities

Inspecting and assessing the condition of commercial swimming pools and equipment

Performing regular cleaning and maintenance tasks such as vacuuming pools, skimming debris, and cleaning filters

Testing and adjusting pool water chemistry, including pH and chlorine levels

Identifying and repairing leaks or other issues with pool plumbing and filtration systems

Installing, maintaining, and repairing pool equipment and components such as pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting

Ensuring pool area safety by checking for and repairing any issues with pool edges, ladders, diving boards, etc.

Maintaining records of maintenance, repairs, and water tests

Ordering and replacing pool chemicals and equipment as needed

Adhering to all safety and health regulations and guidelines

Qualifications & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent is

Proven experience as a Pool Maintenance Technician or similar role

Knowledge of pool cleaning and maintenance procedures

Understanding of water quality standards and chemical handling

Ability to handle various tools and equipment

Certification in pool operation or maintenance is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot minor maintenance issues.

Experience working in a team-oriented environment with multiple departments.

Ability to complete reports and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.

Working Conditions

This job may require you to stand for long hours.

Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crawling

Standing for extended periods

Must be able work in different in varying weather conditions, including heat and high humidity.

Schedule
Full-time, Hourly position. Work may include evenings, weekends, or on-call availability for urgent maintenance needs.
