Job Description
Rolls‑Royce is looking for a Data Governance Solutions Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data governance frameworks, tools, and processes that ensure high‑quality, secure, and compliant data across the organization. The specialist bridges business and technical teams to enable trusted data for decision‑making, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

What You Will Be Doing

Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.

Configure and manage data governance tools (e.g., data catalog, lineage, data quality platforms).

Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and IT teams to ensure alignment with governance standards.

Define and monitor data quality rules, metrics, and remediation workflows.

Support metadata management, data lineage tracking, and business glossary development.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Facilitate data stewardship programs and governance councils.

Basic Requirements

Associate’s degree in STEM or business with 7+ years of data governance experience.

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or business with 5+ years of data governance experience.

Master’s degree in STEM or business with 3+ years of data governance experience.

PhD in STEM or business.

Alternative: 9+ years of relevant experience.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Requirements

Experience designing and implementing data governance or data management solutions.

Project management experience within a data governance environment.

Stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into comprehensive solutions.

Policy development experience in a data governance environment.

Experience with data lifecycle management.

DAMA CDMP Certification.

DGSP Certification.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

Other Information

Pay range: $114,400 - $185,900 annually.

Global Grade: Level C.
