Overview
Westminster Canterbury Richmond is looking for a Manager Technology Services. Responsible for overseeing the delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of outsourced IT services. The role ensures high‑quality, cost‑effective and scalable solutions aligned with business objectives. The manager will oversee vendor performance, service level agreements (SLAs), and internal support teams to maintain operational excellence and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements
Major Accountabilities / Essential Job Duties

Interview, hire, supervise, coach, evaluate, discipline and assist employees in setting and meeting performance goals.

Develop and monitor performance and responsibilities of assigned staff while monitoring staffing patterns.

Oversee daily operations of Technology Services including infrastructure, help desk, network, cloud support, enterprise applications and cybersecurity.

Ensure adherence to service level agreements, key performance indicators, compliance standards and contracts.

Monitor service performance of the teams.

Manage relationships with external service providers and technology partners.

Conduct technology and cybersecurity assessments.

Troubleshoot and resolve computer, software and network issues.

Manage backups, incident response and disaster recovery operations.

Coordinate the design and implementation of all network technology.

Manage client relationships, identify and foster expansion opportunities.

Foster a culture of accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.

Communicate service performance, risks, and improvement plans to Information Technology leadership.

Serve on a rotating basis as the Weekend/Holiday Manager on Duty.

Additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Considerable walking, stooping, kneeling, sitting, standing, reaching and lifting.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Ability

Familiarity with enterprise network and system design.

Strong knowledge of network administration in an enterprise Windows environment.

Information Technology budget preparation and control.

Ability to plan and implement technology based on the needs of the business.

Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication.

Knowledge of network security best practices.

Ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents and other stakeholders.

Valid Driver’s License in the State of Virginia with a minimum age of 21 to drive for the organization.

Proof of motor vehicle insurance.

Strong customer service skills.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills with keen attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and/or issues simultaneously.

Advanced Microsoft 365 and SharePoint knowledge.

Identify and recommend IT end user training needs.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Ability

Routing and switching experience.

Project Management.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity controls.

Experience with vulnerability and patch management.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in information systems or five years’ work experience or equivalent knowledge of enterprise application support and/or business processes.

1 to 3 years supervisory experience or combination of project management and/or progressive IT operations experience.

Desired Education and Experience

Microsoft Certification.

Experience in a managed service environment.
