Export Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities

Coordinate outbound shipments with overseas agents, ocean carriers, truckers, and customers, including domestic drayage and terminal operations
Arrange bookings with ocean carriers and schedule container pick-up, loading, and delivery to port/terminal
Track shipments from booking through sailing and final delivery, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems
Proactively resolve logistics and transportation issues with a strong customer-focused approach
Communicate shipment status, sailing schedules, delays, and updates to shippers, consignees, and partners to ensure full visibility and satisfaction
Create and monitor export reports, including tracking milestones and exception management, in a timely and consistent manner
Prepare and collect required export documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions) and ensure accuracy for submission
Verify charges, coordinate with accounting, and support accurate and timely billing
Ensure compliance with company procedures and basic export regulations, including adherence to documentation and filing requirements (e.g., AES/EEI when applicable)
Qualifications

Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, preferred
2+ years relevant Freight Forwarding, logistics, transportation, or domestic distribution experience, preferred
Cargowise software experience, preferred
