QA Inspector
Responsibilities
Monitoring operations by ensuring manufacturing team members follow company-wide operation procedures
Complete line start-up and line clearance, and hourly inspections by conducting visual and measurement tests
Maintaining records of inspection and testing through an electronic system
Initiate non-conformances and deviations, ensuring that only acceptable products are sent to customers
Being an active part of the team, helping to eliminate production obstacles to increase productivity
Cross-functional exposure to other areas of Operations
Requirements
Stand and walk for 2 hours at a time as they roam their assigned area and inspect products.
Simple addition and subtraction calculations
Prefer prior experience in an FDA regulated industries
Must be able to follow written instructions and specifications under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills
Reading and writing English fluently
Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred
Reading and understanding company policy, safety guidelines, and manufacturing rules
Good documentation practice is a must
Must be able to work multiple shifts, including weekends
Education Requirements
High school education or a GED equivalency required
Certification in quality control is preferred
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Good math and technical skills.
Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
