Position Summary
The Hair Stylist is responsible for delivering exceptional hair-cutting, styling, and color services while creating a personalized and luxurious salon experience for every guest. This role requires strong technical skills, product knowledge, and a passion for staying current with industry trends. Building meaningful guest relationships and providing professional recommendations are key to success in this role. A valid Alabama Cosmetology License is required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional hair-cutting, styling, and color services tailored to each guest’s preferences
Consult with guests to understand their style goals and recommend appropriate services and products
Maintain a strong knowledge of salon products and actively support retail sales
Ensure all tools, equipment, and workstations are clean, sanitized, and organized
Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and innovations
Participate in ongoing training, education sessions, and team meetings
Collaborate with spa and salon team members to deliver a seamless guest experience
Uphold all spa Standard Operating Procedures and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
Valid Alabama Cosmetology License required
Previous salon or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and guest service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
