Requirements

Current Elementary Michigan Certification

Current ESL Endorsement

Knowledge of a variety of research-based instructional practices (such as Differentiated Instruction)

Strong Classroom Management Skills

Strong Mathematical Background

Ability to disaggregate data for planning and prescriptive student educational plans (such as IReady Diagnostic, M-Step, Running Records, DRA)

Strong Literacy Background

Ability to work effectively with a diverse cultural, racial and socio-economic student population

Preferences

Ability to utilize technology to enhance instruction

Ability to work as a member of a team
