Closing Teacher

Kids ‘R’ Kids Fort Mill is looking for driven and passionate individuals looking to positively impact children’s lives. As a closing teacher, you will work with our infant toddlers, pre‑k students, and/or after‑schoolers.
As a family‑owned and operated school, Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy welcomes positive family involvement and encourages a parent‑teacher approach where the needs of every child come first!
As a teacher at Kids ‘R’ Kids Fort Mill, you will be a part of a team culture, responsible for developing and implementing daily curriculum for children in the classroom. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that the classroom is consistently a clean, safe, and positive environment.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be 18 years or older.
Prior childcare experience in a state‑licensed daycare a plus.
Must be able to close with a shift working until 6:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Must have above average verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to react quickly with sound judgment and problem‑solving skills.
Must work well with others.
Must be flexible and adaptable in the workplace.
Must have organization skills.
Responsibilities
Works with co‑teachers and directors to establish and maintain a clean and safe learning environment.
Plans and consistently implements the curriculum activities that promote the children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Keeps accurate, current records of each child’s developmental milestones and progress.
Communicates clearly and effectively with parents, staff, and visitors.
Maintains professional conduct when working with parents, staff, and visitors.
