Job Description
In accordance with Article 40 (Transfers) of the Negotiated Agreement, the following position is now open for qualified candidates.
Big Walnut is currently seeking qualified candidates for a District Custodian – 2nd shift position at Hylen Souders Elementary School.
The candidate must have a positive rapport with students and staff, demonstrate enthusiasm for custodial work, and assume responsibility with minimal direct supervision.
Description:
The ideal candidate should meet the minimum abilities outlined in the Board‑adopted job description. Preferred qualifications include working knowledge and licensure or certification in plumbing, alarm systems, lock sets, and computer usage.
Qualifications:
Current clear BCI/FBI background check dated within one year of employment; ability to lift at least 50 pounds to load and unload trucks; strong reliability, ability to follow instructions, teamwork, and performance as outlined in the Board‑adopted Job Description. Candidates will be interviewed to assess job skills, experience, attendance, and evaluations.
