What You’ll Do:
Provide customer service to all visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response protocols at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and sharing updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report maintenance, access, and other security-related issues.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials where required, and support a professional environment by addressing policy-related concerns with courtesy and clear communication.
Support day-to-day operations by completing detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff notes, while remaining prepared to assist with evacuations, medical calls, and other on-site needs.
Minimum Requirements:
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
