As the Counter Manager at Pandora Jewelry’s Macy’s Shop‑in‑Shop, you will lead a team of part‑time sales associates and sales leads, ensuring an exceptional fan experience while driving sales growth.
Responsibilities
Drive and exceed counter sales goals, focusing on comp sales and transaction targets.
Foster an engaging sales environment that emphasizes exceptional fan experiences to build loyalty and repeat business.
Train, coach, and inspire part‑time sales associates and leads in advanced sales techniques, product knowledge, and brand standards.
Regularly assess associate performance, offering timely feedback and targeted coaching.
Prepare effective weekly schedules aligned with peak sales hours to optimize coverage and payroll efficiency.
Oversee inventory management, including replenishment, cycle counts, backstock accuracy, and loss‑prevention practices.
Ensure impeccable presentation of Pandora jewelry in alignment with Pandora’s visual merchandising guidelines and Macy’s visual standards.
Maintain strict adherence to all Pandora and Macy’s operational, security, POS, and loss‑prevention policies and procedures.
Coordinate scheduling needs proactively, balancing customer service requirements and payroll budgets.
Support the District Sales Manager with hiring needs, recruiting high‑quality talent, and participating in interviewing and onboarding processes.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Lead, Assistant Manager, or equivalent supervisory role in a fast‑paced retail environment, ideally within fashion, luxury, or jewelry retail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for charming and captivating an audience.
Strong business acumen and analytical thinking that delivers positive results.
Proven ability to recruit, retain, and develop high‑performing teams, including succession planning and internal mobility.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, KWI, POS systems, and applicant tracking systems.
At least 18 years old with proof of identity and eligibility to work.
Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays; able to stand for extended periods.
Familiarity with Macy’s or department‑store retail environment preferred but not required.
