SECURITY GUARD (GRAVE SHIFT)

Pay Range: $18 to $23 per hour
Work Schedule
Work Schedule: Thursday to Monday (8pm to 4:30am)
Position Summary
Conducts regular patrols of warehouse yard and parking areas to control the security of our facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting entry.
Initiates emergency response by activating alarms.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers.
Directs vehicular traffic to ensure safe and efficient flow.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
Maintains organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
High School Diploma and valid Driver’s License required.
Experience as a Security Guard, Loss Prevention, Law Enforcement, or related experience, highly preferred.
Must have current State of Hawaii Guard Card.
Physical Demands
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
