JANITOR

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop and vacuum floors in offices, hallway, lobbies and common areas

Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, windowsills and shelves

Empty trash cans and replace bag

Clean and sanitize sinks and toilets

Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper and paper towels

Wipe down countertops, tables and appliances

Clean windows, blinds and light fixtures as required

Shampoo carpets as scheduled

Maintain janitorial supplies and restock when needed

Follow safety procedures and guidelines, including handling cleaning chemicals properly

Provide additional cleaning support for events and accommodation units

Training as required

Qualifications

High school diploma

1 year of experience

Ability to lift up to 25lbs

Comfortable standing, walking, bending and lifting for extended periods

Attention to detail and time management skills

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
