Position Summary
We are seeking a Regional Maintenance Technician to support 4-5 assisted living communities in the Western Twin Cities Metro. This role is ideal for a skilled, self-directed maintenance professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in preventative maintenance, and understands the importance of responsiveness in a senior care environment.
You will be responsible for maintaining building systems, completing repairs, supporting inspections, and ensuring our communities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance across multiple assisted living communities
Troubleshoot and repair building systems including:
Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Boilers, water softeners, air conditioning units
Appliances such as washers, dryers, and kitchen equipment
Complete general maintenance tasks including minor carpentry, drywall and plaster repair, painting, flooring repairs, and fixture replacement
Conduct building and grounds inspections; identify safety issues and maintenance needs
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent issues
Coordinate with leadership and vendors when specialized repairs are needed
Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and materials used
Uphold a high standard of professionalism, safety, and customer service
Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents, families, and staff

Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in building, apartment, or residential maintenance (multi‑site experience preferred)
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks across multiple locations
Strong communication and customer service skills
Compassion and patience when working with older adults
Must meet Minnesota Department of Health requirements for working with vulnerable adults
