Technical Manager/Engineer
to join their team in Research Triangle Park, NC. As a
Cisco TV - Technical Manager/Engineer , you will be part of the engineering department supporting live and recorded productions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will enable them to align successfully with the organization.

What's the Job?
Support live and recorded productions within the RTP region, serving as Technical Lead for designated events both in‑person and remote.
Maintain system reliability, operational continuity, and adherence to Cisco TV global engineering standards.
Develop and sustain expertise across Cisco TV’s engineering schema, including audio, video, control room infrastructure, IP configuration, and broadcast streaming platforms.
Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in high‑pressure live production environments.
Collaborate with Cisco TV Production, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure seamless technical execution and alignment.
What's Needed?
7+ years of experience in broadcast engineering, live production, or media systems engineering.
Proven experience leading live or high‑visibility production events.
Strong knowledge of broadcast signal flow, IP‑based video transport, and control room operations.
Hands‑on experience with audio consoles, video switching systems, routing infrastructure, encoding/decoding platforms, and streaming technologies.
Familiarity with enterprise production environments and collaboration with IT
etworking teams.
Travel 4‑6 times per year.
