
Desktop Support Specialist (Onsite in Denver, CO)

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist/Refresh Specialist for a utility client in Denver, CO. This position will be local to Denver and will be working primarily between two main office locations. This role will be comprised of hardware refreshes where you will be responsible replacing existing/old hardware with new/updated hardware. The hardware is prebuilt but may require some assembly in certain cases. We are looking for individuals with roughly 2-4 years of experience in a desktop/helpdesk support. The other part of this role will entail desktop/end user support functions where you will be tasked with troubleshooting hardware and software related issues.

Skills and Requirements
1-3 years of IT experience supporting users with hardware/software issues (troubleshooting, helpdesk, desktop support, hardware refreshes, new hire work, etc.)
Excellent communication skills (customer-facing role)
Experience with Windows 11, ServiceNow, Active Directory, Azure AD, and related technologies
Basic level troubleshooting skills
High attention to detail
Driver's license and reliable transportation
Proficiency in Windows 11
Familiarity with general peripherals
Experience with ServiceNow for managing and tracking tickets
Knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD for managing user and device access
These skills will enable the technician to effectively manage, troubleshoot, and update systems as part of the PC refresh project.
