
Bulk Supervisor

Ally Waste is searching for a Bulk Supervisor!
Pay:
$40k to $50k per year, depending on Experience
Position Summary
The Bulk Supervisor role consists of redistributing trash flow, cleaning up around dumpsters and compactors, and maintaining detailed reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide guidance, leadership, and direction to the bulk and leveling team.
Ensure that furniture hauling and cleaning tasks are completed to the required standards.
Manage and replenish supplies needed for cleaning tasks.
Using a company truck, drive to 15-20 properties daily on assigned route
Check in, take photos, and document bulky items/furniture at each property using our proprietary app
Sweep up around each dumpster or compactor
Break down large boxes and ensure proper recycling practices are being followed
Where necessary, move trash bags from one dumpster to another to eliminate overflowing trash
Work quickly and efficiently to complete route before waste hauler arrives
Act as a Waste Leveler for staff coverage
Other duties as assigned, subject to operational need
Qualifications

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Waste management/environmental service experience is a plus.
Certificates and Licences
Maintain a current valid driver's license.
Must meet eligibility of the Company's Insurance Policy.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise other employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
