
Raw Material Manager

Job Overview
Plans and manages allocated supply chain resources and demand processes to ensure the business meets agreed customer service targets at minimal operating cost and optimum stock levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage raw material inventory levels, including safety stock and reorder points, to ensure uninterrupted production.
Utilize SAP and MRP systems to plan, schedule, and optimize raw material supply and demand.
Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of raw materials.
Partner with Production and Planning teams to align material availability with production schedules.
Monitor and resolve raw material shortages, delays, and quality‑related deviations.
Lead monthly S&OP activities, including capacity planning and supply alignment.
Develop, track, and improve supply chain KPIs to drive operational performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply‑chain efficiency and reduce costs.
Coordinate raw material re‑evaluation processes with labs and quality teams.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and environmental standards, including proper documentation and reporting practices.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field required.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, or materials management.
Strong experience with SAP, MRP, or similar planning systems.
Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory control, and demand planning.
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
